PleadEasy Privacy Policy (updated April 1, 2021)
This policy details how data about you is used when you access our websites and services, including via our mobile applications (together, “PleadEasy”) or interact with us. If we update it, we will revise the date, place notices on PleadEasy if changes are material, and/or obtain your consent as required by law.
1. Protecting your privacy
- PleadEasy takes precautions to prevent unauthorized access to or misuse of data about you.
- Please review privacy policies of any third party sites linked to from PleadEasy.
- PleadEasy does not respond to “Do Not Track” signals (see allaboutdnt.com).
PleadEasy does not sell your personal data to advertisers, and does not share information that directly identifies you (such as your name, email address or other contact information) with advertisers unless you give us specific permission. Instead, advertisers can tell us things like the kind of audience they want to see their ads, and we show those ads to people who may be interested. PleadEasy may also provide advertisers with reports about the performance of their ads that help them understand how people are interacting with their content.
2. Data we collect, use and disclose:
To provide the PleadEasy products, we must process information about you. The types of information we collect depend on how you use our Products.
Things you and others do and provide.
- Information and content you provide. We collect the content, communications and other information you provide when you use our Products, including when you sign up for an account, create or share content, and message or communicate with others. This can include information in or about the content you provide (like metadata), such as the location of a photo or the date a file was created. It can also include what you see through features we provide so we can do things like suggest masks and filters that you might like, or give you tips. Our systems automatically process content and communications you and others provide to analyze context and what’s in them for the purposes described below.
- Data with special protections: You can choose to provide information in your PleadEasy profile fields. This and other information (such as racial or ethnic origin, philosophical beliefs or trade union membership) could be subject to special protections under the laws of your country.
- Your usage. We collect information about how you use our Products, such as the types of content you view or engage with; the features you use; the actions you take; the people or accounts you interact with; and the time, frequency and duration of your activities. For example, we log when you’re using and have last used our Products, and what other content you view on our Products. We also collect information about how you use features.
- Information about transactions made on our Products. If you use our Products for purchases or other financial transactions (such as when you make a purchase), we collect information about the purchase or transaction. This includes payment information, such as your credit or debit card number and other card information; other account and authentication information; and billing, shipping and contact details.
- Things others do and information they provide about you. We also receive and analyze content, communications and information that other people provide when they use our Products. This can include information about you, such as when others comment on post.
Below is a list of all the types of data we have collected in the last 12 months, where we got it, why we collected it and the categories of third parties to whom we disclosed it. We do not sell your data to third parties. Please note that disclosure to “Payment processors” applies when you pay for a craigslist post using a credit card.

We may share some or all of the above listed data in the following circumstances:
- to respond to subpoenas, search warrants, court orders, or other legal process.
- to protect the rights, property, or safety of PleadEasy users, PleadEasy, or the general public.
- at your direction (e.g. if you authorize us to share data with other users).
- in connection with a merger, bankruptcy, or sale/transfer of assets.
3. Data we store
- We retain data as needed to facilitate and personalize your use of PleadEasy, combat fraud/abuse and/or as required by law.
- We make good faith efforts to store data securely, but can make no guarantees.
- You may access and update certain data about you via your account login.

Right to know: You have the right to request that we disclose the data we collect, use and disclose, and other information relating to data we collect about you.
Right to delete: You have the right to request the deletion of data that we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
Right to non-discrimination: You have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising the rights listed above.
Only you, or someone you authorize to act on your behalf, may make a request to know or delete your data. An authorized agent may make a request on your behalf by providing written permission signed by you.
We will need to confirm your identity before processing your request by asking you to log into your existing account (if you are a registered user) or by asking you for additional information, such as a government issued ID, to confirm your identity against information we have already collected.

By accessing PleadEasy or providing us data, you agree we may use and disclose data we collect as described here or as communicated to you, transmit it outside your resident jurisdiction, and store it on servers in the United States. For more information please contact us.
